S1 Teacher Education for Early Childhood Education

Education is a fundamental factor in shaping the character of the nation. Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students in early childhood education in formal education, basic education, and secondary education. UU no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers in article 8 requires teachers to have academic qualifications, competencies, educator certificates, physically and mentally healthy, and have the ability to realize national education goals. This supports the mandate of the 1945 Constitution, namely the intellectual life of the nation. Article 9 explains that the qualifications of PAUD teachers are Diploma IV (D4) graduates or Bachelor (S1) graduates. Therefore, the UNUSA PGPAUD S1 study program offers education to produce prospective educators who are creative, innovative, professional and have Islamic character.


The realization of the implementation of the PG PAUD undergraduate program that is able to produce early childhood educators who have Islamic personality, are professional, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and have excellence in science and technology, and are able to adapt to changes that occur in society.

  1. Organizing education and teaching in order to develop various basic skills needed to educate early childhood.
  2. Carrying out research in order to develop the science of early childhood education.
  3. Carry out community service in order to apply knowledge of early childhood education.
